Winter fishing for Amur pike and walleye
Amur River
—one of the richest rivers in the world in terms of the number of fish species (about 130 species). It is home to several predatory endemics of the Far East: yellowfin, aukha (Chinese perch), perch and Amur pike, perhaps the most famous of them.
This tour is designed for a group of up to 4 people.
All the attention of the guide will be only for you!
General description

Winter fishing on the Amur River has become increasingly popular among anglers in recent years and can be safely distinguished as a separate type of sport fishing. The thing is that in November, a huge number of Amur pike slide into the main channel of the Amur River from its tributaries and this whole population begins to actively feed.

The same applies to walleye, which is an invasive species in Amur. Over the past few years, due to the specific water situation, its population has grown many times here.

From the end of November to the end of March, one angler per day can safely catch an average of 20 to 100 fish weighing from 1.5kg to 13 kg. The average weight of fish ranges from 2 to 4 kg, which makes the fishing process incredibly exciting. Whitefish, whitefish and taimen can easily be caught in winter by-catch. These fish go out to the Amur River in winter to feed.
The fishing process

Fishing will take place in the channels of the Amur River, near the confluence of several mountain rivers, where you will be taken by snowmobiles or by car, depending on the snowy conditions. Upon arrival at the place, the guide and guides will drill 2 holes for each tourist using a special automatic drill. The time for the holes to be ready is from 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the ice. After the holes are ready, a fishing spot is equipped with comfortable fishing chairs for each tourist, and then there is an introductory briefing and a demonstration of fishing techniques.

After the briefing, the fishing process itself begins.
During fishing, a warm awning with a stove is installed on the ice for comfortable fishing, heating tourists, and also for comfortable eating in the warmth.
Fishing time in winter will be 7-8 hours on average.
